Bank Millennium makes available aid applications for flood victims
Bank Millennium has made it possible for customers affected by the recent flood to benefit from non-refundable assistance from the Borrowers Support Fund. Applications for repayment of housing loan instalments can be submitted by those entitled to receive assistance on the Millenet website and in branches.
Customers affected by the floods can already get non-refundable aid from the Borrowers Support Fund. Bank Millennium has started to accept applications for repayment by the Fund of 12 instalments of housing loans. The aid is provided not only for loans taken out in PLN, but also in foreign currencies. The Fund will repay 12 expected instalments for people whose house or flat was damaged or destroyed as a result of flooding in the areas indicated in the government regulation and they lost (even temporarily) the ability to use the property or part of it. Meeting the conditions is a prerequisite for receiving aid.
In the Millenet service, the application has been made available in the My finances tab, after which you should go through the following options: Credits/Mortgage loan/Details/Flood – application for support from FWK. After correct submission by the eligible person and acceptance of the application, the repayment of 12 expected principal and interest instalments of the loan will be taken over by Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego. For this purpose, it will use funds from the Borrowers Support Fund, which is financed by bank contributions. Victims can submit applications until 31 December 2024.
