Bank Millennium makes it easier to pay bills

Bank Millennium has made a new service available to customers - BLIK recurring payments. The solution makes it easier to pay recurring bills, e.g. for services operating in the subscription system.
More and more services on the market are offered only in the subscription model. Customers pay subscriptions on a monthly or annual basis. Some people are afraid to give providers full payment card details. In such a situation, BLIK recurring payments are a perfect solution. The service makes it easier to pay recurring liabilities, e.g. streaming services, telecommunications, subscriptions or insurance premiums. It does not require entering bank account or payment card details. Entering the BLIK code is also easier and faster. The user can manage BLIK recurring payments from the bank's trusted mobile application on their smartphone. Since April, the service has been available to all adults using the Bank Millennium application for retail clients.

In the multitude of activities and responsibilities, it is easy to forget about cyclical payments for TV, electricity, gas, etc. Thanks to the BLIK Recurring Payments service, our customers will not have to remember about this type of commitment. They receive a secure solution that allows them to easily manage such payments in the bank's mobile application, without the need to log in to many different websites of individual providers and give them card numbers - says Tomasz Perski, Head of the Customer Solutions Development Team – Cards and Payments at Bank Millennium.
- Ten years after Bank Millennium implemented BLIK payment system, the introduction of new capabilities such as Recurring Payments required a fresh architectural and technical approach. The solutions were built on the basis of previous experience in the payments area. BLIK-R implementation was carried out on the available transaction platform, using modern technologies in the area of mobile application and integration. It provides ease of use, high efficiency and accessibility, and above all, transaction security - says Tomasz Jarocki, head of the Mobile Payments and Integration Team at Bank Millennium.
- The subscription model of offering various types of services is becoming more and more popular. We want to enable our customers to pay for their subscriptions using the tools they know and use every day. So far, payment for subscriptions was done mainly with cards, but the availability of BLIK Recurring Payments is a perfect complement to the range of options for paying for subscriptions - adds Szymon Kuchciak, Head of the Payment Cards Sub-unit at Bank Millennium.
The market for recurring payments is growing. Over time, more providers will join the solution. After entering the BLIK code on the provider's website, the customer confirms the activation of the recurring payment service in the Bank Millennium mobile application. In this smart application, you will see a summary of where you have activated BLIK recurring payments, will be able to set their limit and resign from this method of paying liabilities. Some payees may collect payments automatically, while others may only collect payments after you have confirmed each transaction.
