Bank Millennium sponsors the premiere of ONO-1 at the Kochanowski Theatre in Opole

At the end of October, the premiere of a unique performance by young artists "ONO-1", exploring the subject of artificial intelligence and its impact on the future, took place at the Kochanowski Theatre in Opole. Bank Millennium was a partner of the event.

- Bank Millennium has been culturally involved for over thirty years, supporting theatre, film and music events on a national and local scale. This year, as part of our patronage, we also have the pleasure to cooperate with the Kochanowski Theatre in Opole, one of the most important drama theatres in Poland – says Barbara Klepacka-Gancarz, Macro-regional Director in the Corporate Banking Department, Bank Millennium.

The performance "ONO-1" was created as part of the 7th Competition for the Theatre Project MODELATORNIA and takes part in the 31st National Competition for the Staging of a Polish Contemporary Play. It is a unique project, created by young artists: Wera Makowsx (director), Piotr Froń (text and dramaturgy), Kalina Gałecka (set design, costumes and lighting), Magdalena Kawecka (choreography) and Mateusz Rzońca (video). The protagonists of the play are faced with questions about both their future and the past buried under many layers of memories. At the same time, each of them stands in front of the mirror of technology to tell the story of the person they see in its reflection.

The premiere of the play "ONO-1" opened the new season at the Kochanowski Theatre in Opole. The performance will be available on the stage of the theatre in November and December.
