Bank Millennium the best in remote channels

In this year's second wave of the Institution of the Year ranking survey organized by the Mojebankowanie.pl portal, concerning accounts for children, Bank Millennium was recognized as the best in remote service.

During the survey, customers with a personal account contacted their banks with the need to open an account for their child. In the case of remote channels, 130 telephone conversations with infoline consultants were made and 130 e-mail inquiries were sent. They mainly concerned an offer for a teenager, but they also asked about an account for a child aged 11. In addition to the basic parameters of the offer, the subject of the talks were the possibility of using finances by underage customers, payment limits and control mechanisms on the parents’ side.

Bank Millennium stood out, i.a., by the excellent level of service provided by consultants on the infoline and in electronic correspondence.

Bank Millennium has been improving its offer for the youngest for over a decade. Parents can open Konto Millennium 360° Junior account for their child right after birth. The youngest children (up to 6 years old) do not have access to the mobile application, online banking or card. However, they can learn to manage their own budget from an early age. Even small funds can be accumulated on your account and saved on the Konto Oszczędnościowe Profit savings account.

Konto 360° Junior account grows with your child. The functions and capabilities of the account are adapted to the age. Young customers gain access to new services as they grow. For example, from the age of 7, at the request of a parent, a child can receive access to the mobile application and a debit card to an account with specially designed graphics and a payment limit managed by the parent. From the age of 13, juniors get access to Millenet online banking, and the mobile application gains an "adult" design. Its user will also be able to take advantage of new functionalities, such as topping up the phone, buying public transport and cinema tickets, and cybersecurity educational communication. The parent has full control over the child's expenses. If they have access to electronic banking, they can view their child's expenses on an ongoing basis, as well as quickly top up their child's account with pocket money.

Konto 360° Junior is a payment account kept for persons aged under 18. The statutory representative and the account owner after turning 14 may dispose of funds accumulated on the account within the monthly limit specified in General Regulations on Provision of Banking Services to Individuals in Bank Millennium S.A. Upon request of the statutory representative the Bank enables the minor aged 7-13 to dispose of funds accumulated on the bank account with use of a debit card or mobile app to a limited extent only for the limited extent purpose of making minor daily matters (reduced transaction limits apply).

The Profit Savings Account is only available to Holders of a personal account, which is a payment account. The first transfer in a given month from the Profit Savings Account is free of charge, you will pay fees for subsequent transfers according to the Price List - interest rates. The standard interest rate on the Profit Savings Account is variable. During the second wave of the Institution of the Year this year, customers who already had a personal account visited the outlets of their banks and contacted the helpline with the need to open accounts for their children of different ages. A total of 390 contacts with banks were made: 130 branches of 13 banks were visited, 130 phone calls were made to helpline consultants and 130 email enquiries were sent.
