On behalf all the employees, Joao Bras Jorge, President of Bank Millennium, thanked Boguslaw Kott for his contribution to the development of the Bank: "Let me point out that Bogusław Kott for many years not only served as the President and then the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Bank Millennium. He also significantly contributed to the profound transformation of the Polish financial sector after 1989. He was involved e.g. in the creation of the first VISA payment card in Poland, which was issued by the Bank in 1991. A year later, he introduced the Bank – as the first financial institution – to the Warsaw Stock Exchange. In the late 1990s, early 2000s he launched the network “Millennium" revolutionizing the Polish banking standards. His commitment has made Bank Millennium a benchmark for growth and innovation in the banking industry. I would like to thank Bogusław Kott for all these years of leadership, inspiration and guidance."
