Finals of Bank Millennium recruitment contests

Who'll go for the internship in Portugal and what student's project will be co-financed by Bank Millennium? The grand finals of the "People Grow" campaign in the weekend of 16-17 May.

On 16-17 May 2003 in the "Bankowiec" hotel in Gdańsk the finals will be held of three recruitment contests organised by Bank Millennium S.A.
 
In "Opportunity with Millennium" the most unique student's project will be selected, the authors of which will receive up to PLN 10 000 for its implementation. Coming up to the finals are four teams of university students from Warsaw, Gliwice, Łódź and Poznań. The ideas involve a sail-car trip across the Gobi desert, space travel, innovative marketing and a bicycle tour along the route of the Children of the Sun in South America.
 
Standing up for the last round of negotiations are the finalists in "Millennium Negotiation Game". The shall agree on the terms and conditions of co-operation between two banks and will take a special negotiation quiz with participation of member of the Management Board of Bank Millennium Ms Anna Rapacka and the Director of the Recruitment Department Mr Jacek Kuna. The winner team will go for a summer internship in Portugal.
 
Contending in the grand finals will be student teams, which presented the most interesting business solutions in the "Millennium Future", the first phase of which was held during the spring Career Days in seven cities of Poland. This time the participants will be presenting their response to the issues raised in a classic business exercise - a case study describing the challenges facing Banco Comercial Portugues in the first years of its activity (BCP is the strategic investor in Bank Millennium SA). Students who present the most interesting solutions will go for a summer internship in Portugal and internship in Bank Millennium SA.
 
All the above initiatives are being organised within the framework of Bank Millennium's training programme for higher school students, which is part of the process of active recruitment of the Bank's employees.
