Millennium Leasing with a record limit of BGK's de minimis guarantees

The BGK de minimis guarantee is one of the forms of public aid for entrepreneurs granted in the form of security for the repayment of liabilities. The guarantee is not a cash subsidy, because it does not involve the transfer of funds to the entrepreneur. Therefore, it does not have any tax consequences. Millennium Leasing is a leader in the performance of lease agreements with a de minimis guarantee from BGK. According to the data at the end of February 2025, Millennium Leasing executed 65.7% of all contracts on the market secured with the BGK de minimis guarantee^[1]. The BGK de minimis guarantee programme for lessees has been in operation since 2023. So far, over 3900 Millennium Leasing customers have used this form of financing. And the total value of transactions covered by the guarantees amounted to PLN 970 million.

We know how important it is to support Polish companies in times of significant turbulence in supply chains, changing market situation, but also in green change, which is why at Millennium Leasing entrepreneurs will also finance pro-ecological assets as part of this offer, e.g. photovoltaic panels with energy storage, heat exchange or recovery devices and waste recycling equipment. - emphasises Marcin Balicki, Chairman of the Management Board of Millennium Leasing.

- The de minimis guarantee for lease repayment is a very important element of our guarantee offer, - says Professor Marta Postuła, First Vice-President of the Management Board of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego. - It is a "tailor-made" product, i.e. precisely tailored to the needs and expectations of lessees. The fact that it is well rated by this group of entrepreneurs is evidenced by statistics. According to BGK data at the end of February 2025, almost 6 thousand entrepreneurs have used this form of security, and the total value of guarantees granted is PLN 1.480 billion. We are proud of such impressive figures, as they prove that BGK's guarantees work and that they are an effective instrument to support entrepreneurs.

By choosing leasing with a de minimis BGK guarantee, customers can gain more favourable terms and conditions, e.g. a higher amount of financing, a longer lease period, the possibility of financing non-standard items. In addition, at Millennium Leasing, customers covered by the BGK guarantee programme can also take advantage of other promotional offers, e.g. 90% lower first 3 lease instalments. At Millennium Leasing, entrepreneurs can also finance unusual, hard-to-sell leased items.

The leasing offer with a de minimis guarantee of BGK can be used by companies from the micro-, small and medium-sized enterprise sector. As part of the Millennium Leasing offer, the guarantee may cover up to 80% of the amount of financing granted in the form of leasing, up to a maximum of EUR 800 thousand for one transaction. The guarantee period is a minimum of 3 months and no longer than 120 months. The limit of de minimis aid for one entrepreneur is EUR 300,000 and can be used within 3 years.

Currently, only 5 leasing companies allow entrepreneurs to take advantage of the financing of assets secured by BGK's de minimis guarantees (the list of lessors who have signed agreements with BGK is published on an ongoing basis on the website of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego).
