New release of Bank Millennium's mobile app

The first customers can already use the refreshed Bank Millennium mobile application. The way you navigate the app and the pages of individual products change.

From mid-June 2024, the first Bank Millennium customers will receive a new version of the mobile application. It's even simpler to use and available on both Android and iOS mobile devices.

– In line with the expectations of our customers, we have focused on evolution instead of revolution. We change the elements of the application in accordance with the latest market trends and standards. Even if the products we offer tend to be a bit more complex, the banking application itself should be as simple and intuitive as a number of others that we use every day. We are glad that this goal is consistently pursued, and that our ideas are recognised and positively received. We have conducted a lot of research with users to make sure that the changes we propose are in line with their needs and take the application to an even higher level – says Halina Karpińska, Director of the Electronic Banking Department at Bank Millennium.

In the refreshed mobile application, we have improved the user experience. Navigation elements have been moved from the side panel to icons at the bottom. From now on, all the most important sections will be within reach of the user's thumb. The content of individual sections has also been sorted out and divided into Payments, Products, Offer and More (which will include additional products offered by Bank Millennium). The Bank has also decided to refresh all product pages, e.g. accounts, cards, deposits, etc. Many of them will gain new useful functions (e.g. viewing all card data after additional authorisation). In the upper left corner, there is a place for the profile section. You can, for example, edit your data, view documents and contracts, quickly contact a consultant or switch to a company profile (if the client has one).

– From the point of view of technology, what is important is what is not visible, i.e. a completely refreshed mobile platform. We have used modern technologies to create application interfaces and a proven microservices-based service architecture that give us new development opportunities. As a result, the new version of our mobile application is attractive to customers and provides a solid foundation for future innovations - emphasises Piotr Skopiński, Director of the Applications Development Department at Bank Millennium.

In the first place, the refreshed application will be used by new customers who are just entering into a relationship with Bank Millennium. The solutions will be made available to existing users gradually. It is important that they have the most up-to-date version of the application available in App Store, Google Play and AppGallery. After the new version of the application is released, the customer will receive contextual information that will allow them to familiarise themselves with the changes. The process of making the app available to customers will end in August.
