About the insurance

Generali's foreign travel insurance package protects you and your luggage when travelling. The insurance is offered to the Generali Millennium VISA credit card. The package includes the following:

  • medical expenses and assistance insurance,
  • personal accident insurance,
  • travel baggage insurance.

You may use the insurance protection for maximum 60 days provided  that your single travel does not last longer than 30 days.

As regards medical expenses, assistance and travel luggage, insurance protection starts at the moment of crossing the border of the Republic of Poland and lasts until crossing the border on your way back.

As regards personal accident insurance, insurance protection starts at the moment when you leave your home or place of employment when going out, whereas it ends upon your return to the Republic of Poland. The protection is not valid in the territory of the Republic of Poland and the country of residence of the Insured.

Generali T.U. S.A. is liable up to the total of the sums insured, including the below provisions regarding specific coverages.

Within the assistance package Insurer provides the following services:

  • 24/7 telephone service at Centrum Pomocy Generali,
  • Transport of the Insured,
  • Assistance in recovery and re-sending of your luggage,
  • Extension of insurance protection in emergencies,
  • Transport of the travel companions of the Insured in case of his death,
  • Coverage of the costs of stay and transport of the travel companion of the Insured,
  • Assistance in case of flight delay.

The insurance package is voluntary and monthly fee is 4,99 PLN.
