Know Your Customer

The KYC (Know Your Customer) process derives from the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism Act of 1 March 2018. The Act applies to all banks and other financial institutions, such as payment institutions or brokerage houses.
  • Preventing

By law, we have a duty to prevent financial crime: fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, corruption or organised crime.

  • Verifing

The law mandates that banks must collect and then ensure that their customers' data is up-to-date before the start of the customer relationship and throughout its duration.

  • Monitoring

We have to make sure that the transactions our client performs on their accounts are legitimate and do not lead to money laundering, terrorist financing, violations of Polish and international sanctions or other financial abuses.
