Changes in Millenet online banking system and in Bank Millennium’s mobile app

Bank Millennium has provided customers with a new history of transactions in Millenet and the mobile app. Thanks to the innovative solution customers can now quickly and conveniently add to the transaction a photo of the receipt, invoice or guarantee, an additional description of the transaction as well as tags. Additionally in the mobile app they can mark the transaction location on a map. In the latest update Bank Millennium’s mobile app also gained a new and improved menu as well as message box.

The new history of transactions is available for personal accounts and cards. The customer may add attachments in jpg, pdf, png, gif, jpeg file format and up to 1.5 MB each. The possibility of defining own tags allows finding specific transactions quickly, while adding a broader description allows their easy identification. In order to supplement the history of transactions in Millenet it is sufficient to enter the history of a specific account, click on details of a particular transaction and add an attachment, tags or description. Additional details of a transaction can be provided in the mobile app immediately after sending the transfer or making a BLIK payment, directly on the transaction execution report, and also after going to history and then selecting a specific transaction.

- Many times when checking the history of the account we have a problem with identifying the transaction. This is because in case of many shops their name, which appears in the transaction description, is different than the one we know. Also often if it is necessary to file a warranty claim or return the product, we have a problem finding the receipt or invoice confirming the purchase. The service, which we have brought to customers, should largely take care of such issues. Adding photos of receipts to transactions and the possibility of marking the location of the transaction on a map is something new on the market - Ricardo Campos, Director of the Electronic Banking Department in Bank Millennium said.

The other changes in the app’s menu permit even easier and more intuitive access to the account, to mobile payments as well as other functions and the greatly simplify moving around in the app. A new feature is also the intuitive message box in the mobile app and the revamped message box in Millenet.

- We designed the new menu layout and the new message box together with users. The designs originated on the basis of their comments and suggestions; we tested the solutions with them to make sure that they best respond to their actual needs. We keep improving the app so that using mobile banking becomes more and more convenient. We test and consult each and every new solution together with the users. All customers of the bank can take part in testing – Ricardo Campos added.

Changes of the app menu involve only its layout. All existing functions are still available; they were only rearranged to make access to them more intuitive. On top of the screen a bar was added with shortcuts to settings, contact and logout. In the new app version the entire menu is visible without scrolling down.

The new message box is fully integrated with the mobile app, which means that messages become automatically available both in Millenet as well as in the app. Users can now write a message directly in the app, add attachments in a simple way and easily find the thread thanks to the introduced categories.

The updated version of mobile app is available for Android and iOS.
